Ready for the Holidays!

Hey everyone, so I'm still in the middle of exams but I've made the time to blog because I'm a bit of a procrastinator haha. When you study for a certain subject, are there some that just feel like there's nothing to study on? I have an exam tomorrow which I'm trying to study for, but I'm really wondering how to study for it because I have no idea what to study for it. So there's around 3 or 4 certain things I need to remember, but I feel like it's not enough, does anyone know what I mean?! It's a bit annoying actually. It's just one of those subjects which they teach lots of random stuff, but only a select bit tested makes it into the final exam. The rest is just stuff for your own fun.

Hm... this post isn't very interesting is it? I haven't uploaded anything onto my channels this week because of exams, but I'll try and get stuff up after my exams are finished. SOMETHING FEELS WEIRD!!

Hey everyone, I thought I'd share what just happened to me literally a few minutes ago. So anyway, I just had a shower a few hours ago, and it's night time so I'm wearing my PJ's. So anyway I noticed something wiggle and make we want to wipe off what was tickling my skin. I believe this happened within the last hour. So it happens sometimes where I feel like there's some sort of living creature crawling around my skin, though when I tried to wipe it off, there was nothing. Just before I felt a funny crawling sensation and thought nothing of it so I just sort of clawed at the area, and when I felt the squishing sensation, I realised that it was in fact a spider!!!! I had no idea a spider was crawling around my neck area for the past hour, and to be honest, how did it even end up there. The only explanation I can think of is that it was on my bed this whole time(I hope not). Well anyway, that was some words of randomness today, hope you had some interest in reading this haha. Hope everything is going well with my readers, I myself have gone back to the stress zone again. Can't wait until the holidays start!!! CYA!

The Lost Episodes

Hey everyone I started a new series called The Lost Episodes, check out the first video below!

So I have actually filmed many videos last year, and the beginning of this year but never uploaded them. I completely forgot about them until I rummaged through my SD card and hard drive and found all the video files so I had the idea to make a series called "The Lost Episodes' which states the date of filming, and does not follow any particular order.

I will treat these as "extra" videos as I still want to continue to upload new content every week. I will upload 1-2 lost episodes each week, unless I change my mind and upload one every week, but I think it could be a bit too much to handle for my subscribers. 

I actually haven't blogged in ages, it's funny how I always end up back onto my blogger account when there's something that I desperately need to type up! I find blogging fun to do and relieves a lot of stress. Can you believe that it's been over a month since I went to Singapore and Taiwan?! I am already into my 4th week of semester 2 of uni, and there is only two more weeks of uni before the next holidays!!!!!!! Can't believe it, and next thing you know I'll be saying merry christmas and happy new year! Anyway, let's not keep this blog too long, talk to ya next time, bye!

Ready for the Holidays!

Hey everyone, I can't believe I've made it to the final day of my exam study period! At 12:30 I'll be waving goodbye to uni as I finish the first semester! I'm not quite sure if I say this enough, but uni is so demanding. Compared to high school which is nicely structured out into a whole non-stop day with a few breaks, uni has many different sections, meaning that you are usually left with spending most of your days at uni, or at home studying, well that's just me anyway.

You may know that at uni you have quite a few extra study and holidays compared to normal school, and this is because at uni they try and cram in every little piece of information they can so they can try to teach you everything asap. Sometimes what you might learn at school in one whole year, only takes around 2 weeks in uni, unbohlievable (see what I did there??) hehe anyway...

Tomorrow is my final exam and basically everything within the last 8 weeks of uni is being tested which I think is a crazy amount of information considering that there's 12 weeks in a semester, but the people who need to revise a whole semester worth of notes is a lot worse off I think. Hm... I realised that I keep talking about uni, it's such a boring topic yet I keep talking about it. Shall I move on to better things?? YEA!

So if you didn't know on Sunday I'm leaving for Singapore, and then moving to Taiwan for a quick 2 week holiday. I really hope to film a few vlogs for people who may be interested in travel. Even though I don't have that many subscribers, I think it's good for me to document the special moments for myself to look back on at least don't you agree? I went and bought an expensive vlogging camera so you can expect me to go from 720 to 1080 in a few videos time. And after my overseas trip, I'll shortly be off to Armageddon in Wellington, I really can't wait to meet Veronica Taylor, and I hope to see PokeCollection too so that should be exciting. It will also be the first time I publicly cosplay. If you are there during the event and see me then don't be afraid to say hi :)

Yea, anyway I'll probably take a nice long nap after tomorrow's exam! I have a few videos planned which I might film before I go away or maybe even film there, I have no idea. Shall we end the post here? Enjoy the rest of your day!

Happy 6th Birthday PokeCollection!

So today PokeCollection (or was it yesterday?) well anyway, PKC has turned 6! First I would like to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY! It's so great to see you continue with your channel as I know there are many people who have already discontinued their channels which is a shame.

I just wanted to quickly say "Thank You", I don't know if I say it enough to you buy asides from the awesome giveaways you've done over the past years, and your amazing sponsors, there is something greater that you have given me, and that is that well... except for the large about of money missing out of my bank account, because of your channel I got a lot more into Pokemon.

I used to think I was a really big fan of Pokemon, but the thing was that I was only ever into the anime, I never really took any notice to anything much outside of the anime. If you have seen my channel you would have seen me grow from mostly collecting the DVD's to now my massive collection of all sorts from TCG to games too. I really don't think it would have been possible without your channel.

I remember discovering your channel a few weeks before your 3rd birthday, I was thinking about starting a new Youtube channel at that time and while I was interested in watching a lot of comedy and vlog channels, I somehow came across yours. I remember there was a period where I must have watched all your videos instead of studying for my exams bahahah, but time well spent.

The day before your 3rd birthday event I created my channel masterbrendantv1 which is better known as just masterbrendan nowdays. I think I created it because I needed a YouTube channel to chat during the live events so I just made one, so whenever it's my masterbrendan birthday, I know it's close to yours too.

During the live event I remember having so much fun staying up until real late (I think the last one must have lasted until maybe 3 or 4 or something like that). At that time I had real bad internet speed so I don't remember how I got through the liveshows. I think I had to always have two windows open just in case one crashed.

I still remember the time I won my first prize, and when you called out my name I was sort of shaking and couldn't get over the fact I had won something (if you remember my shaky hand video, yeah I was really shaking). I actually recorded that moment and it's on one of my hard drives because it was a really memorable moment for me.

Anyway, I feel like this post is way too long. All in all I have to say thank you for everything you have done. It has been great meeting your family and see everyone and your channel evolve. I shall end it here before things get a bit too long. I could really go on and on. Hope to see you some time! And once again, Happy Birthday!

Last week of Semester 1!

Hey everyone, so I'm down to less than one week until I am officially exam free! Before that happens, I would like to take a quick moment and *cough procrastinate*..... oh where was I? That's right, I'd like to take a quick moment and talk about what I'm really looking forward to.

 So if you didn't know. In just over a week I will be packing my bags and flying over to Taiwan, but before that I'll be stopping over in Singapore for a few days. The main reasons for this trip is basically to catch up with people and also explore Taiwan as I have never been there before.

The two places I have ever wanted to visit in Taiwan was The Dragon and Tiger Pagodas 龍虎塔 and also visit the Teresa Teng memorial at 金寶山, reasons are because I love to listen to Chinese music, at least the old sort of stuff, not the recent stuff haha. There have been countless music video shoots at 龍虎塔 so I really wanted to take a look myself. And for the Teresa Teng memorial park, I wanted to pay my respects and have a look around, listen to some of her music that will play there, and also try out the piano haha. I'm sure it will be a lot of fun.

Other than that I also want to try out as much food as possible over there. I was told that they have excellent wonton noodle soup so that's a must. And I'm forced to try stinky tofu :P Anyway after this trip I will start Semester 2, but during the weekend I will also attend Armageddon in Wellington (so if anyone sees me then say Hi, it'd be awesome to meet some of my followers!) The main reason I want to go there is to meet Veronica Taylor, the original voice of Ash. There's a few other voice actors which I want to meet who are there too so that will be interesting! I'll be cosplaying for the first time publicly too, so it'll be exciting.

Personally I think it's good to talking about the positive things.When you keep focusing on the negatives, things seem depressing and gets your hopes down. There's a few things at the moment which are on my mind at the moment, but having all these awesome things planned in my future really helps motivate me to keep going. I know that study is only temporary, so I must keep going for this week! Anyway, that's all, lets leave on a positive note. Can't wait for next week to be over!

Back To Public Posts + Life Updates

Hey everyone, so I have not blogged in AAAAAAGGGGGGEEEEEESSSSS, and when I say AGES I mean Ages!! I went and made this blog private after my last post because I wasn't quite sure it was time for people to see the post yet but after a while, I've realised that I don't care about it too much.

So yea, now people can see this page once again, and now that I've taken a look around, I forgot how popular some of my posts were. Usually I only average a couple of views but I managed to snap up almost 10,000 likes, though i'm only barely past 1000 page views so I feel like they got their sources from elsewhere, but either way, I'm happy that people have found my blog posts.

On another note, it's that time of year again, EXAM TIME!! I'm in the middle of study week and I'm back sitting on my chair in front of my computer studying (so Asian!), but in fact during these times, I always end up on YouTube and discovering new YouTubers, that's a plus of studying for me! I usually reward myself after an hour or two and watch a quick YouTube video. These days I like to hear people talk and topics, usually Beauty Gurus pull it off somehow, even though I never watch any of the actual beauty videos bahahah. I recently discovered Wengie who's done some pretty cool videos. Go check her out if you haven't already :)

And for a news update, I'm leaving for Taiwan in 2 weeks so I'm psyched for it! I'll be vlogging definitely this time. As for my MBXD channel, I want to start uploading more frequently on that channel, so hope to expect a video 1-2 times a month now hopefully! And as for my masterbrendan channel, I want to upload more meaningful videos other than openings for the future, hope to do that soon!

Fingers crossed that I pass all my exams with flying colours (that's over 50%! I'm not that asian really!) This time I have only 3 exams so I have more time to spend per subject. Oh and did I mention I'm almost finished with Card Captors Sakura and I completed Charmed Season 1 in 5 days last week??!! I'm onto Season 2 now!
